The guy is saying:  The pumped tipped when priming. The pipes filled with concrete became heavyer and made it tipp. The crete in the pipes was sollide after the rescue. The rest is all bulls't... Wink

I believe I send you a picture of this one Todd! Did you ''like'' the pics?

Hopefully nobody was hurt.  It really is a shame to see a nice, expensive, shiny machine like that all smashed to crap; it looked almost brand new.

He was actualy lucky Northwest. I knew I guy that did that with a 36 sching. Only the bridge was 3,20.

He was lucky that he was only driving like 20 km/ph  like 13 mph.. He smashed the front window with his hands and the watertank and hydro tank detached from the pump..  The bridgedeck moved a more than an inch.

Just a thinking... Why is it allways impossible to blow a ball through the boompipes when a pump tilts over? And why not open the bottomlid on the hopper, to let out the concrete and meanwhile reversepump a few stroke? It can be done even if the pump is tilted up side down. Not a big job, but it save alot of money for the pumpcompany. Why is a concretepumper allways so paralysed when a pump tilts over, so that he allways forgett that he has concrete in the hopper and the boompipes?....just a thought from a pumpcompanyowner......

Maybe i´m insensitive, but a pumpers job includes allways to save the boompipes/hoses, tubes and the hopper, no mather what. Do what can be done in every situation, include pumptilting - don´t sit down and feel sorry for your self - noone agree you. Or am i too rough in my mind?

Most times the operator does mannage to safe the boompipes. But a pump upside down or on its side will loose to much fluids to be able to pump. and in some coutrys the operator is not alowed near the pump untill the investigation is finnished...
