Please go to the ACPA facebook and read the post about the recent pump theft in Florida. December 4th there was a 2009 32 Schwing stolen from a yard in Tampa. There have been at least 10 thefts or attempted thefts on the west coast of florida within a year. That is just a crazy amount of pumps stolen. Their ultimate destination is the Miami area probably to be loaded on a ship and leave the country.

I had one of nmine stolen in October but because of my GPS I was able to recover it.

If you go to the ACPA Facebook  site you will see it was owned by Les Ainsworth. He called me Friday and asked me to spread the word. I would not have made this public on this site unless Les wanted me to.

Please go to the Facebook site and share its post. We are all being affected by this wave of theft here in Florida. I don't think Les is going to see his pump again but if the those that are operating this ring see that there are many eyes watching and banding together to find these scumbags perhaps they will be less apt to steal our equipment

I remember talking to les about this machine. Was a 32meter that had a 28m d section. Les spent a lot of money swapping to a 32m d section and refurbishing this machine. Had low miles and hours.

What do these guys do with these machines?  Not like it fits in a sea container. Mind boggling. They gotta have some serious equipment to dismantle it.

Hoping it is recovered And these bastards are caught.

Yes they will fit into three containers.

Team Stream,

Since mine was stolen ( and recovered) and I had 2 attempted thefts since I have been working with law enforcement to try to crack this. i have learned there is an old area where there used to be a port and some rusty ships that look like they don't even float are moored there in Miami. We think that someone is placing an order and trying to fill it with our machines. There is a boat there big enough to just drive a pump into (and whatever else they pilfered). They close the door behind them and sail away. Once they are 12 miles out you don't own your pump any more.

I wrote a post about how my GPS system allowed me to see that my pump was gone where it went and that when I tracked it it showed what time they took it, how they drove and when they shut down. Without GPS I'd be fighting with the insurance company and trying to replace my pump with what they would give me,which wouldn't be enough because of the higher prices now being demanded for the same pump.

Anyway,  it is really unfortunate that Les is suffering this loss and that everyone in Tampa Bay and the west coast of Florida is freaking out and installing all kinds of deterents, Me included
