This is a shallow water drilling rig and production platform off the south coast of Newfoundland.  This is the concrete 'gravity base'.  It will sit on the ocean floor, it will be floated to the site. initially flooded with water for stability while drilling, then the water will be displaced by oil when the well(s) are in production.  The oil will be off- loaded onto ships for transport to market.

Pumpcrete was involved in a similar project 'Hibernia' quite a while back.

4 Electric powered 4800 pumps directly under the batch plants supplying freshly mixed concrete to the GBS through our 61 meter booms and 39 meter placing booms.

I believe Pumpcrete is the Concrete Pumping company all others look up to.

2,000 m3 and counting keep on pumpin'

They are a World Class outfit.  Wow Awesome!!!!

Looks like a great job,well controlled,well planned,well equipped,and well manned.,and a piece of cake for the operators.Lets consider the jobs with no help,no control,no planning,and wrong equipment,enjoy the good ones while you have them.

I'll wash out the hoppers on the 61's......

is all equipments used in this project is from SCHWING?  including Batching plant?
