Are there any school or colleges where a guy can get instructin on the operation of concrete pump trucks? Or is this just a on the job thing.

I read back in the past months before i registerd that there was a place being steup in bc, canada. for teaching guys how to run a pump. Is this place up and running? ihaven't seen anymor about it.

Is this something that a empoyer looks at bfore you get hired?

Their are a couple of schools or classes you can sign up through the manufacturers. I know schwing used to run several classes a year. You might want to give them a call. The majority of all pumpers learn on the job by riding as a helper for a period of time. Hope that helps
