I don't see any wheel chocks on the drivers???

That is the scariest set up in the world; jacked up front end (good job) and pouring over the rear quarter.

My real problem with your set up is that your front pads are not level; they follow the contour of the ground. Easy to slide off of un-level pads. Serious problem if you slide off of pads that tall.

I could be wrong about the degree of level of the pads; If so please excuse my faux pas. ;~)

Hey Bob, yea it was pretty wild set up. Yea it does'nt look like there level but they are, I made sure of that. But, you did get on me on the wheel chocks, I felt comfortable though being on pavement. I take your criticism respectfully, Thank you.

NC,

Usually, a company will send one of the better players to a tough set up situation; so you must be the man.

Please remember that every once in a while they send you to a job that, if not impossible, is a job that perhaps should not be done. When you are the GO-TO guy; it is hard to tell the boss that you won't do the pour. IMHO, that does not make you less of an operator but rather more of a thinker. If you, as you should, always look at the big picture there are more important things in life than doing something that should not be done.

In the long run your company will be better off, you wil gain more respect from the guy that signs your check and you and those around you will go home every night in one peice; and that is what it is all about.

Don't forget to ask Todd for some hard hat stickers. And when you paste them on, make the promise.

Have a safe and prosperous new year. ;~)

why is the front end jacked up so much? it doesnt look like the truck is level.

Yea, I guess it seems to throw you off a lil bit, because of the angle. But, yes it is level. Actually, the front end probally could have come up just a lil bit more, but then my trap door underneath the hopper probally would'nt of been able to swing open in case I had a problem. I'll see if I have another angle from the back.

Looking at your first pic you looked too close to the cut. Especially in NC but, seeing you on the pavement in the second made me feel better.

Hey Justapumper, yea it looks that way but I was pretty comfortable with that setup. None of the ground was disturbed where I was sitting, and the clay up here is unbelievable how it packs down. I swung over before I ever primed, and it never broke once. All I had to do was jack up a lil bit more where I was sitting to compact what was there just a lil bit more.

75% of all my jobs, here in the Sierra's, are on a hill and surrounded by trees, therefore carrying dunnage and cribage is a must.  Nice photos....

Hey OE 3, yea it only has about 30 hours on it. It's a great pump. I just had factory man here to help fine tune all my boom controls, and it's really running smooth now. It came from the factory with boom speeds cranked up for some reason, even in snail. We got it goin now, and can't wait to pump the next one.
