would like to know if any of you northern pumpers ever pumped on tubes with heated water running through them? if so any problems

tied to wire mesh on chairs and running line dragons! 7-8 inches thick

We pour on in floor heat almost daily.  It's pretty tough to damage it you should have no problems. 

I wonder if it would flash set with the warm water going though if the boiler is turned on. If no heat I wouldn't see a problem.

ive poured a few pads with hot water lines running in the pad. never really had trouble just have to watch the clamps dont hook on the lines.

Don't worry about it if the tunes are down good it will all go good!! And if they are not you are a pump operator not a plumber, you have to worry about the pump, not to worry if somebody else did their job the proper way. Because if they did you will not even know the pipes are in the pour.

Almost every slab I've pumped with in floor heat, the tubes have just been pressurized with air. Pumped a few huge blocks that had gycol running through the lines to actually help cool the concrete because the mix generated so much heat as it cured. As for running system on top, I've always used pans on the couplers of my hose and put used tires under all my steel line to keep it of the rebar/wire mesh and the plumbing lines.

ALL WENT WELL! THANK YOU KEN,DAVE AND LARRY. THIS POUR WAS OUR NEW SHOP FOR 3 PUMPS AND I DID EVERYTHING AGAINST LOCAL OPINION ON POURING CONCRETE! WE SET PINK BOARD THEN 3in CHAIRS,ROAD MESH THEN USED A HANDHELD REBAR TIER TO HOLD THE HEAT TUBES DOWN EVERY 2ft. ON POUR DAY WE USED LINE DRAGONS (broought in some customers to show how they work and how much they save on labor and chiropractor) THOSE DRAGONS TWISTED AND TURNED AND DID ABSOLUTELY NO DAMAGE! THEN I INSTALLED A PEX LOCATING BLADE ON OUR SAW AND FOUND ONE THAT WASNT TIED GOOD ! WE POUR ON TUBES OFTEN BUT NOT ON CHAIRS AND NOT WITH HOT WATER RUNNING.

We've had the Line Dragons on a lot of heat tube pours and never had any problems.  We use to put pans under all the hose clamps but now we use the Dragon Egg™  As far as the tires on the Dragons, They wont hurt the tubes any.

WE DID A LINE JOB TODAY WITH HEATED FLOOR AND THEY USED STAPLES INTO THE PINK BOARD AND I STILL THINK THAT WAY SUCKS PULLING LINES ACROSS THOSE TUBES KEPT AN OLD MAN ON HIS TOES RE STAPLING THEM

Tank are you going to have eggs for 2.5 and 3 inch ?

We like to use "staple down" on outr tube installs and use 6x6x6ga wwm on top with brick chairs.

Works good, and our locator saw never seems to find any:-)

Never poured with fluid in them tho only air pressure.

We hope to someday have the Dragon Egg for 3, 4 and 5 inch hose.   We kinda decided to start with 4 inch and see how well they sell.
