Not from a well drill but have pumped real mud from a lake!! used a schwing 750-18 trailer fitted with greedy boards then loaded it with a 360 excavator.had 1000ft of line out pumped no problem.Have to watch out for rocks and debris but otherwise ok. No need to prime it , just flushed a drop of water thru to start with. keep it well greased, the dirt gets in all the wrong places!! best of luck |

Guys. Remember. They use pumps built by Putz and Schwing for industry waste pumping. Or in real terms the shit farms in cities. The are skid mounted trailer pumps modified only a little.
Example is. We sold 10 units to New York City in the 90's for waste treatment plants. The city would buy one and have a second for each one bought as back up. They were trying to eliminate as much of the trucking of it as possible from the process area to the storage areas. |

I Hate to admit this but I once pumped out an entire lagoon at a dairy farm (Cow shit!) They pumped the surface water with big trash pumps, and the thick shit was loaded into the hopper with loaders. I pumped it from the old lagoon to a new lagoon that was made of concrete with a 33m Riech. We built a bigger hopper with a rebar grate that sat on top of the pumps hopper. Cow shit pumps great! |

hey Too Tall I have also pumped alot of cow crap also your correct it pumps great! We have also pumped screened dirt turned into mud through 1200 ft of 5" line as back fill on a gas line project where the tree huggers of the world would not let the contractors build a seperate road to back fill, so once a week we would move our pipe line to another location, pumping was no problem just humping that 5" pipe up and down that project was a pain in the ass but it kept us all in shape! |

Sweet! I'm very glad to hear that I am not the only "cow crap pumper" out here! It's one of those stories that I dont tell very often because it sounds like I'm full of exactly what I was pumping... shit! |

Hell, a modern concrete pump could pump strait sand if it was 70/30 water/sand! (just dont turn the pump off!) |
