Hey guys, I have not much of experience pumping SLURRY MIX. So far in my first year of pumping I have done one job whit slurry mix 3.5 sack at 800 inch slump, using 125 feet of hose, it was verry easy I did'nt have any problem pomping. So I was wondering if I was lucky. Can SLURRY be hard to pump with a 4 to 6 inch slump? |

your slurry is a bit different to what we have here but if its got no rock in it and plenty of cement and sand in it then yes its pretty good stuff to pump! well thats what i reckon, but others might tell you different!! |

i have only done it once with my tkb-30 and the customer was filling exterior of a pipe and had no t fitting to release pressure that was my typical problem but at 500 lb i could pump it like cake. i was told by the pump company that sent me out to allways keep the material wet and in doing that it seperated so bad that the top four inches in my hopper was water. even thought i thought i had water washed and drove 60 miles home there was material in there that was set up tighter that i could belive. |
