One of my operators heard about some concrete pumping company that had 10 pumps and they were torched sometime this week here in the states somewhere and only 1 was salvageable. I've looked all over the internet to see what I could find out, but I got nothing. Anyone heard anything about it??

The incident in Canada happened in Calgary, it was Viper Concrete Pumping - same guys blowing frozen mud out of their placing boom system a couple weeks back. That one was an arson, they were fire-bombed with Molotov cocktails. ? Disgruntled ex-employee ? There was a C&C boom burnt in back of a truckstop in Alabama a couple weeks back. Just the pump cell and axles seemed to have burned on it....curious!!

I've checked all over the Late breaking news websites and I still can't find anything. Nothing is more telling than word of mouth so If it happened, someone on here is bound to know more about it. If I hear anymore or find anything about it, I will post it.

My ex wife said she had heard that Jim Du[zyk in Elk Grove ,CA just south of Sacramento had his building burn down and if I remeber right he parked 6-7 indoors. I had worked for Jim real briefly, he is kind of a odd duck, a good guy but quick tempered. I didnt want to callhim to see if it was true or not

Fire damages concrete business

A two-alarm fire broke out in a concrete pumping business and caused an estimated $1 million in damages on March 1, Cosumnes fire staff reported. No injuries were reported.

The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. at the Jim Dupzyk Concrete Pumping facility on the 9800 block of Kent Street in central Elk Grove.

Cosumnes fire spokesperson Steve Capps said that his agency’s firefighters confined the fire to one business’s building that was unoccupied at the time.

The fire’s cause is still under investigation, he said.

Yea Many I know who's pumps those were(the stolen ones) It happened in Dover,NJ . Someone stole 2-3 pumps right from the owners fenced in yard . They never were recovered either. But I know the owner personally and it about broke his heart when it happened. Its weird that those pumps were never found, its hard to imagine a pump that is painted pink like those were could stay hidden long ?

Hey Todd, That might've been it. I'm going to do a little more detective work today and see if that was the company that he heard about.
