Anyone ever run one or have one in their fleet? We currently try have 2 putz line pumps and was thinking of adding one. Not for the reach but to save the first few hoses of the pump.

My opinion is that unless you need the boom to reach a certain height before plugging into system the 20M is pretty useless. The only real plus is the ability to pump in areas with low overhead clearance, as the reach of the boom is pretty minimal.

agreed local.  line booms make money.  and every now and again a small line job turns into an easy boom job.

Getting a bigger boom will just be a hassle for us. We have about 200 booms in a 50 mile radius. There are fewer line pumps. This small boom will not be marketed at all. This is just to add another pump to our line pumps to save our backs from the first few hoses. We rarely do jobs with more then 125 feet. Our big market is front balconies which the 20m wild be perfect.

If you have to have a boom the Putz 28Z is pretty good, though a 31 from either Schwing or Putz would be better. Personally, with the expense of boom pipe I would just as much prefer to run the extra 50 feet of hose from a line pump and save yourself $10K if something went downhill fast.
