i run a run a 63/5 putz.. i was just wondering if anyone on here or know's someone who run's a 62/6 and what they think of it and if there's any advantages of having the 6th section??

i run a 52m cifa 6 section, its fun and can really do alot of little things with a biggerboom, i was wondering if anyone was ever gonna ask about the 6 section booms.

cat, think its more of a logistic thing, your 63/5 must have sections pushing 15m long, that makes the whole rig nearer 16m long, all on a rigid chassis, NICE when your try to turn right on a mini roundabout!!!  If your going to make bigger booms them you are going to have to either make the  sections telescopic or add more section in order to make the whole unit road friendly!!!

The 62-6 is exactly the same as your 63-5, only difference is that the last section is cut in two and it's 2 metres shorter than a 63 metre...
So you get the same unfold height and overall length of truck, but it's makes it easier to go inside buildings and behind things.
Always wanted a 62-6, but we don't get them that big here.
Didn't Cifa make a 7 section some years ago? Or.. hmm...

More, and shorter sections are always fun.

  i wish my putz 52-5 was a six section it would be more user friendly i dont like brinning the 3rd section back on its self even worse when your short rigged
