Those directional outrigger lights are sweet. From way up there that big pump sprawled out actually looks like a cat.......that went splatt!    HaHAhaheha.....

hi guys..the job is in birmingham a new hospital we had to empty every single pipe by hand..and believe me them 5" 3 meter pipe's full of concrete are not light......

Empty every pipe by hand? Wow, seems like you could have sucked back a sponge at least through half of that system. I've never pumped a big job like that. I would think a blow out cap at the end to assist the reverse pumping? What would you guys do?

The Cat 02-01-2009

un able to empty the pipes useing a compresser due to the fact we broke back every 14 pipes with no way of blowing them...( inside a new hostipal glass every where )when we'd got back to the last pour we were only 6 pipes from the pump....

1 - 3m, 5" pipe full of mud = 200pds (give or take) equals a hard days work!!!

other then pump operators, i have yet to see an operator get down and WORK.  CUDOS TO YAH CAT  :)
