What's the difference between Putz vs Alliance vs Concord for the maintenance, wear parts, reliability. And witch one are very simple to fix. And boom bouncing ?

Best thing to do is call each one of them and ask them that question.

I have ran them all , and have to say that Concord is by far the smoothest , most operator friendly pump I have operated , and the easiest to work on. But thats just my opinion.

I would have to agree.

Dear putz.. Is your pump the best? yes

Dear Concord.. Is your pump the best? yes

Have run mainly Putz, and Concord, would agree the concord is smooth, but would say the booms are heavy also. Putz are our hands down best machine for running costs. We have Schwing Concord Putz and Alliance. But depends what your looking at buying, small booms, I would say Alliance has a big advantage, set up unfolding heights. Schwing 2nd in the 31 ez. But larger machines hmm I would tend to go Putz, just for build or structure, very well put together. Hey a concrete pump has to pump mud, it all depends on the terrain you live in, and mixes in your area also. I just look at our numbers, and the Putz has been pretty much trouble free, and thats with multiple operators on one machine. We try to keep the Korean machines at two operators, it helps. And the comment about running a machine properly goes along ways also.

Never did understand why Swing always makes a pump with a hopper so high off the ground. That's something to really consider before getting a pump. There's always going to be a job where mixer trucks will have a hard time getting there chute into your hopper and why make it more difficult for mixer drivers anyways? I think most of them have a hard enough time. I ran Swing, Putz, Alliance, Thompson, Pumpstar, Riech, and of course the line pumps transcrete and mayco. My favorite is Putz and Alliance. But one important thing to consider is what the pump is mounted on. Freightliner and Pete's I shake my head at, being a Mac truck is my favorite.

Thanks for this thread. I seriously want to see and run a Concord.

I've run all three, I would take hands down Putz(pre chinese) over the rest.  Alliance we replaced parts with Putz parts, lasted longer.  I hated the hydraulic system on my Alliance.

Putz - Great Pump - Lots of bells and whistles to care for and owned by the Chinese.

Alliance - Jun Jin - Great pump. First one sold in 1998 here in the states and still going strong.supported by Alliance who are Excellent people. Canada and South Korea partners and USA FRIENDLY. Great pump, great people.

Concord - Great Pump. Built in CANADA? Marketed and serviced by Irving Family in Ohio. An American Family owned and operated business. Awesome and best thing to happen to Concord for sure. Irvings brings a huge background in service and parts for the Crane industry. Been with us in pumps for a decade now too. They know the needs in service and customer support in construction equipment.

Do you buy and support a communist owned company?? or our own USA friendly nations and Neighbors. Still gonna get the job done by any of them. All are certainly proven in our markets. So if you can get the performance, less to worry about, better price point and support nations and locals that support our country? What do you buy?

Bis my concord runs cooler than any of my putz's, better cooling system, easier to work on , nothing wrong with our putz's , but this Concord will absolutely eat shit and like it, but I agree , it all depends on who's operating it day in and day out , makes a lot of difference.

Fuel consumption is also something to take into consideration. Any feedback from those who have run multiple brands of machine regarding which manufacturer/models are easier on fuel?

Great Point.!!!!! Whats your take on this or findings? Over time. We all know what it does to daily cash flow or profit margins.

I have run Alliance and schwing.  Nothing but problems with Alliance a newer pump and the schwing is older and not a  single problem in 6 years and running.  Got rid of the Alliance. Schwing all the way for me over 20.000 hrs on the tractor.  jmo

I have run Pumpstar from 32-50m, Putz 32m, Cifa 31-41m, and Concord 40m. The Concord is probably the smoothest pump I've ever run, even at higher volume. Granted every setup on every jobsite is unique and there are an untold number of variables in setup and operation. The 40m Concord has a fairly small footprint and can be set up and operational in about 15 minutes, comparable to a 32 Putz. I don't how they do longevity wise as we've only had it about 2yrs. It has certainly been a fine machine to this point. The Irving's are great people to deal with also.
