38 m putz or 39 m schwing who has the best allaround pump

ok guys i can handle this one myself. In my opinion Schwing is a much better pump there might be one or two people out there who will disagree with me but in my opinion Schwing is a much better pump.

I think question is answered.

we have both , i ran the 39 and now the 38. the putz is a smoother pump but the schwing is easier to run and maintain. the putz has a lot smaller outrigger footprint which is very nice.

no todd you can not handle this the putz is a smoother stronger more compact unit.how many putz38 and schwing 39 have you been around? now i think it has been answered. buy putz!

Ive ran both. I have a 38Z now and love it. Both very good machines. I do like the rock valve better on the schwing rather then the s-tube on the putz, makes it easier to clean out. The putz is alot smoother. Schwing doesnt offer the Z boom where putz does. Id go with putz.

i agree with todd i have ran both and the schwing to most of the pumping world is a more versitale pump in all situations,yes the z boom is nice but honestly how much do u use them on a daily basis. but as far as performance service and parts schwing has putz beatin by a long shot and not the electrical and mechanical nightmare and alot friendlier to the new guys comin in,,,,,so buy schwing u cant beat them up

and also a electric boom is smooth but any good operator can make a schwing move just as smooth without the electrical malfunctions and half the headache

I have to say my experience was mainly schwing.I ran a twin steer 39m and found I loved it.It like the others have its own little faults to an operator but was a very dependable machine.
