I´ve got an used trailer pump that worked ok last 6 months. Now it doesen´t. The problem is that it stops the engine like it was pipe blocked, but is not. 1. I´ve seen a problem of an "incomplete pushing stroke" of right plunger cilinder that over forces the machine, (I´ve switch R to L cilinder and the problem persists on right side. 2. I´ve seen that the main right Hydraulic cylinder works "sleepy" (video). 3. The main right cilinder on stand by mode started moving and "reached" the left cilinder (picture). I dont have acces to Pm service but i need to do something, and I dont know what the problem is, how to find it and how to start looking for it. Please look the photos and video and save me. I´ll be so glad if someone can help me, thanks.

prox switches, wires, acumilator blader, dead cylinder, closed 1/4 turn valve, putz.check your pressure ports for proper readings, could be as simple as a bad hyd hose worn on inside. good luck

Sounds like the main ram is bypassing oil, either a broken seal or a scored bore.

Can you e-mail me the Serial Number for this unit. This is so that I have the correct schematic. At first look I am wondering if the cycle relay is shifting, IE getting a signal from a Prox switch. If so, Is the coil on the cycle valve getting proper voltage? Confirm the resistance of the coil on the Cycle Valve. Did you do any repairs before this started? Please also try to stroke the machine manually Push the cycle valve see if it strokes fine, if so the issue is electrical. I am thinking the cycle coil might not be pulling the spool for the stroke, In the video the s-tube seams to be shifting. woodsa@putzam.com Where are you located?

I'm with lucky phil on that on... travelteck: this is just my personal opinion, but this is why I prefer a Schwing over a Putz, because you dont have to depend on all these prox switches and all electrical components; of course there are other components that can fail, again this is my opinion

Thaks all again. I´ve tried some cleaning job and changed the rings and seals of the main cilinders and the plunger cilinders too. The fact is after that no more leaks apear but the bad behavior steels the same. If the "cycle relay" is the one that changes from foward to reverse, it´s working ok, even so, when I change the flow, to reverse, the problem with the plunger ciliders changes of side, the one that doesen´t complete the stroke of the s tube is the other one, in this case the left one. In the video it´s true that the s tube looks to shift, but it´s so because position of the camera but the problem really happens, actually i´ve seen the s tube stopped in the midle. I live in the south of Colombia a beautiful but distant city called "Pasto". Look at the link and welcome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QDHRJ3JRN-g

Hello Friend, If the changeover is hydraulic please check the NRVs, if electric please check the proxies. Seems to me the changeover signal is not going to control valve causing the oil to be blocked, after the end of stroke, in turn causes the engine to stop. Good luck. One signal from main cylinder another from plunger cylinder. Both need checking.

you might have check valve that has collapsed (spring broke)
