Sounds interesting. I'm guessing the course was at the factory?

 I've been looking into a 4 week course for a general boom inspec. certification program that is in Portland. It's the closest one I could find to Seattle. The initial portion of the course can be taken online but the magnaflux, electro current and hands on field training/certification requires 10 days at the facility.

 Two other boom inspectors that I've spoken with said this was a good way to start out. Did the Putzmeister course require this general certification before hand? I ask because open enrollment begins Jan.1st for the next available course in February. It's alot easier getting time off in the winter months rather than in spring & summer.
