Putzmeister Brazil, Ltda. (PMB), a subsidiary of Putzmeister America. Inc., is celebrating its first vehicle-mounted series (VS) line pump built at its Atibaia, Brazil factory. The owner of the VS unit is Estatec Concrete Pumping.

Recently opening its doors to the Brazilian market and its customers, PMB will soon start production on its first truck-mounted boom pump and City Pump.

PMB offers various products and services including new equipment, spare parts inventory, after sales support and a facility for operator and maintenance training. In addition, the company also provides refurbishment services of customer-owned equipment.

Putzmeister America was given full responsibility in June 2007 for the Brazilian market from its parent company Putzmeister Concrete Pumps GmbH. Expanding with PMB was strategic in adding to the continued growth of the Putzmeister Group in the Latin American region.

Putzmeister has been supplying Brazil with the highest quality and technologically advanced products for many years and by establishing our local assembly and service of products we continue to reinforce that we will be around for a long time."

Since its opening, PMB has successfully surpassed its sales goals and sold equipment for many high profile projects including the Belo Monte Hydroelectric project located in the state of Pará, Brazil, which will be the third largest hydroelectric plant in the world once complete.
