Yeah Drew, you're right. Nice piece of build up wedged in there and snap, crackle, pop. |

Well it does look quite a lot safer than a pin all the way through. This is quite flexible so when a blokkage comes the pin will flip down and let it pass. But not 100% safe maybe?? |

Maybe if it was shorter still, maybe 1/2 the hose ID. But still I don't think I'd use it. |

I asked my boss to buy one for me. I feel like trying. (Since we use the super double 45 with lock here and the customers are so used to it they don't want anything else. If we don't put it on they will get an other pumpcompanie.) Maybe I can convince them this is better. Its time for a 'revolution' :-) |

It works well , I got one from Putz at BAUMA . I have pumped 2000-3000m3 through a 4" endhose without any problem , but never bigger ballast then 25mm (1") so in a 5" endhose it is probably possible with bigger ballast . And it flex down if something bigger is coming through. |

How does it wear Vasa? |

Vasa | 10-11-2010 | reply profile send pm notify |
I dont see much wear on it but you see that it is used after
the cubic I have pumped . Do your own it is no "rocketsience" ! |
