Starting to stuggle here in the winter. Today I could not see anything on the display of the remote. The cold makes it almost impossible. It also reacts very slow on the commands when its cold. Almost impossible to work with. And now it was only -8C. It can get down to -25c here

We have the problem on all the putzmeisters.. Is there any tricks out there?

yup. I was told im the only one with that problem. starts to go green screen at -5C and unreadable at -10C? it gets cold at here aswell. 

dosn't help that i get all my remotes concrete splattered alot so have to clean often.  I found the leaky spot into the remote.  Dont know where it is but its there.

the only trick is don't work in the cold i guess.  i found out that 45 wieght hydrolic oil dosn't work very in a putz the same winter

Sorry but thats doesn't hold. Park the ''worlds most expensive'' pump because you can not see the controls when it gets a bit fresh??  

Seems like there is no solution?? It takes me so much efford every day not to just smash that thing to the ground

Dipstick stay foccest on pumping. when the remote is set right it won't tel you more then your ears do. 

the two main problems that arise for me are, cant turn the agitator off without turning on the water pump or lift the grill and rabbit/snail mode for the boom.

pay 4k to use cable. Seems legit...

Not only agitator is a problem. I need control over the aircuff also. When I have to wait for a long time with wet concrete it should not be closed. That can cause plugg = danger

Also nice to be able to use the vibrator on the hopper sometimes.

I already find it very irritating to have to look down on my remote a long time to control all these things. Thats dangerous by its self. But if you can't see anything it all becomes gaos.. But we all now what Putz thinks about our complaints don't we..

Also people are all different and some can be pleased some of the time but not all.

As far as the Remote screen goes, yes it disappears in the extreme cold, but is doesn’t have to. I found out that HBC the Mfg of the remote has set the screen resolution for middle of the road temperature to try to satisfy “Most” of the folks. It can be set to work in the cold but then it will get hard to see in the heat of summer, and Vice/Versa. But I am told this is doable.

Please contact PMA 800 890 0269 and the Remote Repair dept can fill you in on the particular details and options you do have.

I have also asked guys to try leaving the screen light on. The icon is in the upper right part of the screen, it will use more battery, but not being able to see the screen is worse. I admit this is a bit inconvenient, but the overwhelming customer Feedback was “We want a screen for feedback info on the unit”. For a couple months a year the cold is a factor, some more than others, and as we get the feedback from you these concerns can be worked with.

So not a screen for switching on/off  the vital funcions..

If the screen was only for info and secundairy functions it would be no problem..

I just think its totaly unexaptable that putz delivers a pump to a country where they know it will be freezing for 5 months of the year and not do anything with this problem. And when you give 'customer feedback' they say you are the only one with this problem..

All the feedback I hear from everyone that owns a Putz is that they want the functions : agitator, vibrator and aircuff out of the screen and on normal switches on the remote so you don't even have to look down to switch them on/off. Its overwelming actualy..
