Balance is ok with boom behind but I like the outriggers close to the ground in case of wheelie. I chain the feeder to the truck so it doesn't sail into anything or it will lay on the front outrigger with a 4x4 under it. |

I have a question along the same line. Can you have the main and the feeder hanging out behind you backing into a door? I have a job coming up where I will need to do this and then have a excavator life the feeder off of the main once inside. There is not enough room to lift the feeder up with the thing on the front. |

Yes on a TB 105 you can have both the main with the feeder still on top and back into a building. Of course you will need to open the unit to safely swing the boom to the back and take care not to damage the transfer when doing this. but the added weight of the feeder is not a issue. I am curious why you would need a loader to unload the feeder when you get into the Bldg? |

The feeder has to drop staight behind the truck and the main has to swing to the passenger side. There is absoultly no room to put the main down and swing out from underneath it. I will try to take a couple of pics tomorrow. |

Yes it works that way. Just remember the tandems weight 60,000 and the front wheels you can lift with your fingertips. LOL |
