Toddster:I think you missed Coastal Carolina & Calif's Interstate. Coastal having 80+pumps and Interstate having somewhere (best guessimate) around 50! I once did the math and there are more concrete pumps in the 11 bay area countys than there are in 45 of the 50 states. Now I'm counting Conco, who has pumps in a few other places,so to really be fair just say NORTHERN CALIFORNIA alone has more concrete pumps than 45 of 50 states. HooRah I'm in N.C. ,but I'm really proud of my "California Can Do" heritage |

Your right, I was shooting from the hip. It's hard to say who is number 3, 4, 5 and so on but Brundage is #1 that is for sure, lol i think. I don’t know how many CEMEX has. I hear they buy 100 pumps a year now. they are all over the place. I think its a scary trend that is going on. Ready mix companies with pumps. That is how it is done all over the world and its now starting to happen here in the |

Between the industry changes and some of those companies mentioned being in poor weather areas, better watch out, things could be a changing quicker than we might think! |
