Has anyone heard that Quinn's in Vegas is buying Best West in Portland, OR??

I heard something like that.  Should be fun!  With Quinn moving to a SLOW market, as well as Ralph's boasting about it's 61m making Portland it's new home...I think all you'll hear from Portland is a large sucking sound--of prices dropping to keep iron busy...good times....

Also, I heard that Conco had bought Quinn awhile back??? Was that a rumor??

mitch your joking right? I cant even believe that quinn is still in vegas let alone buying companies out in other states. i will ask my dad about this in the morning.

Ritchie,u know that Quinn is still here,if he wasn't ur dad wouldn't have a job.Conco just supplies Quinn with the equipment when he needs it,at a moments notice.I'll ask Mike Quinn tommorrow and then get back to u guys but i doubt it,he's alot smarter then that.

the big companies want to expand and the small town guys want to go where the action is.

Yep,Quinn signed the papers on Tuesday and he now owns Best West in Portland.He getting rid of the pumps they had and sending a couple of his up there.Not to sweat though,the biggest thing he has right now is a 58m,I guess he'll have to get something bigger to compete with Ralph's 61m.Oh yea,he's also thinking of heading down towards the Bayou,look out Pudg he's comming ur way next.Glad to see somebody can expand in this economy but we all know theonly way u can do that,UNDER CUT the next guy.

New to this site but i already see some good news,maybe.Going to give this guy Quinn a call if he's comming to the Bayou i might want to switch companies.Always looking to relocate.Wolfman,can u give me any info on this company?Diversiication is the name of the game.

I hear that Brundage-bone laid off 18 people up north and that Steve H. is on his way up,they picked up 8 of thier contractors.Any one got any info on this situation,i'll see if i can find out more.

You've got it all wrong.  They laid off everybody!! and all the Pick-ups the salesman use are being rented to U-Haul for extra $$$.  They're also sub-contracting the office crew to do support work for Microsoft.$$$  it all helps...the mechanics have also fenced off half the shop and run Doggie Day Care.  mo-money...mo-money!!

Kinda funny that u HEARD i locked up the pump,but did they tell u that I'm the guy who topped out the main buiding and i also topped out Vadar.Pretty funny huh.came from florida and took over for who???????A SUPER PUMPER that backed a truck into a light pole and failed a breathalizer and thats not all i do beleive he also left the boom up twice and ran into two bridges.Must have forgotten all that experience.
