look at how much rubber is left on the inside of hose before it gets to cords. Compare it to a new hose. I agree that its usually not a good idea to repair old or used hose.

In the company where I worked long time ago we would hit them in ourselfs with a sledgehammer. Use tire grease on the flense and a blok of wood in between to avoid dammage. You have to hit quite hadr but it can be done. Don't know what kind of strap they used to fix it though.. |

Dipstick is wright that was practice years ago.But the result of it was claims for delay for an other blown hose. And claims for cleaning the workspace from concrete splaters and on. if your end are gone so is your hose. Some concrete plcers aint dumb,they see wen a pumping companie is going cheap and can let your hose blow |
