So if I am thinking on buying a boom pump, why would I not choose a Reed seeing that prices are pretty good? |

Hey Pelon, With the inventory clearance sale we've got going on right now, we're selling booms at about half of what they were just a few years ago. Kinda hard to go wrong at these prices. You've got to be one of the only people thinking about buying a new boom pump right now...sooo, thanks to supply and demand you might be able to get a really amazing deal. Please call me if you'd like to talk to some REED Boom Pump customers to see what they like/dislike about our pumps and service. Thanks! Mike Newcomb |

when a manufactor is giving you dealer cost and directing you to someone that will approve it for finacing well its hard to lose on that deal. the market will not turn until we have inflation so wait a while and pay more when everyone else wants to jump into this business. |

Because you can get an amazing deal on a Schwing too, and unlike the others it will still be worth something years from now. |

I run a 42 xxt love this pump. We recently replaced our older pump with another brand of a pump that is one of todd's sponsors so I won't bad mouth it but a reed is build like a pump is supposed to be made there built heavy and run very nice. Smooth controls and very little bounce. They will pump concrete that other pumps won't pump. Love my 42. |

OK, sorry Bis, I gotta call you one the 'Made in America' thing. REEDS are Waitzinger units: http://www.waitzinger.de/index.phpsite=37z4xxh&style=products&lang=en
Not that there's anything wrong with that, REED even points it out on their site: http://www.reedpumps.com/boompumps.htm

We picked up a new 42 metre 5 stage Reed several years ago. It was an Antonelli top section and Waitzinger from the slew ring down. This set up is fantastic, we used a Transcrete 170M3 pump cell rather than the Waitzinger. The boom was ultra smooth, the Dragon Fly outriggers are second to none. At $ 280k the Reed 42 provided it is an Antonelli/Waitzinger is a much better unit than any of the two Huncretes. Go for the Reed 42 metre 5 stage. We have a 42 metre boom only on our floor that owes us more. You get the Mack and the pump. It's a no brainer.

Reeds rock & roll! Their "dragonfly" outriggers are super versitile, they're one of the few pumps that keep all 4 feet on the ground with the boom flat out in any direction. I dont toss around endorsements alot but Reed pumps are in my top 3 favorites! I was drooling over this one a couple months ago, it was for sale in Cali... |

Thanks for peoples opinions but what did the other 731 people think, and also Reed is 15 minutes from our yard if that means anything. Thanks again |
