what is the best way to replace boom pipe. from the tip back or from the hopper out

Same here.. And often you will be surprised how bad it fits.. My theory is that the pipes will always be pushed a few mm away from eachother after a few poors.. So best use a jack to pull the pipes towards eachother when you can't get the clamps on..

thanks guys, i have always done it hopper to tip also. iwas just wondering if that was the best way.

hopper to tip has always worked best for me. also i would suggest getting the gaskets that have the spacer in the middle for your non swivel clamps , that little gap it leaves will make a big difference in the end.

Indeed Beast it will make a difference but the pipes will even go a bit more apart when pumping under pressure. Just mentioning Wink
