Helped a friend change his wear parts and rock valve on a schwing 32m 1990. He feels the new rock valve is not covering the jugs properly? It dose look a little off. HE has not had a problem pumping but feels it should be better lined up with the jugs. Any sugestions has anybody seen this kind of problem before? All the parts are from schwing.

There are timing marks on the end of the slewing shaft which must line up with the timing mark on the slewing lever. Usually a center punch mark. Check that first.

you have the timing mark, but also check the splines on the yolk that shift cylinder hooks to,maybe worn out.

if it is a lil off take loose the big nut on the shifting cylinder and screw the rod in or out of the yoke  line it up and tighten the big nut back up i think it is 60 mm

also check axial and rock shaft ram mounting point bushes for wear

on the older schwings whitout acumelator it was normal the rockvalve was out of line whit the hopper empty, i believe it was the left side. you can place a mark on the valve axel on the back side and when you are pumping concrete the marks wil get just that litle out of line.

I have a 1990 same issue.  The rock won't shift all the way without concrete in the line. Our truck had a problem even under a load it didn't shift all the way.  This caused uneven wear on the plate and ring (it wore it badly at 8 O'clock and 4 O'clock). There are 2 plugs in the shift cyl with a ball and spring.  Take the ball and spring out and throw them away; and crank up your damper valve.  This fixed ours.  We no longer have uneven wear due to the rock not shifting all the way over.  You can check your alignment; however if you are off a tooth or 180 deg off it'll be WAY off, not just a little.
