Hi, Had a bit of a problem at work yesterday but thankfully we were pretty much done with the house slab. Had a bit of blockage(concrete in the hose dried up a bit and the pump was pushing it out at approx 1500-1800psi when this loud bang and the hopper being rattled around a bit, scared the aggi driver and myself. This is what happened.

I'm confused what they are called, I think it's Rock Valve since I was told that but I've been checking around it seems like it's S-Tube. Could someone confirm this for me please.

This is on a Line pump, not a boom.
Thank you.

Yeah that is pushing an S-tube a little far. Schwing has the rocks. What I dont like about the S-tubes is there isnt enough room to put hard facing inside it.

Forget about repairing that S-tube, buy a new one. Better check out the work boot section ....... like those air conditioned boots !!!!!

Oh yea, we had the pump stripped down, inspected about 2 months ago, was told it was all good to go! I knew it was beyond repairable, it'll be sitting in the shed as a trophy! Have a new S-Tube in now and back pumping again!
As far as I know this is probably the 2nd S-Tube on this pump over the last 5 years.
