I see the Raba in the first pic has had the standard alteration to the roofline on the cab with the old 31 RF atlas booms!

Here is a few pictures of a pump in Odessa Ukraine. Its a old titan. If you look close just behind the hopper is a cab. They modified this pump. Every time you want to pump a man has to put it in gear and then give it gas :). The boom only work off the stack valves. Now i have a bad day now and then ! But this guy has 1 every day and doesn't know it ..

And if you think thats bad? Take alook at the concrete trucks. Every one had to be on a very tall ramp just to get in to the hopper.

That RABA cab is the same cab MAN used till the late seventies. I think a lot of now days Mack drivers are jealous about it. I loved to drive whit it.

I dont know what that means...but I was wondering, I've heard this story about the pumps that were used at Tchernobyl, (there are some pics on the German Putz site) what I was told is these pumps were on their to Western Europe and a Putzmeister Technician saw them driving on the road, called authorities and a hole was dug out and the pumps were burried in concrete at the side of the road somewhere. have you or anybody heard this story?

You can use GoogleEarth to look at the Chernobyl site, you can see several pumps parked on a compound. I would highly doubt that they ever left.
