Rust on boom

Hello guys , at my work we have a 40m roll & fold Kcp and shows rust at the plate where this boom sits on the cradle and also around the plate on "jib" section ( where this section meets the other) the paint peels off easy around it . I am concerned on how safe is to operate although it has passed previous boom inspections .
