Hi all,

I have a 2006 TK-40 trailer mounted pump that been having problem with the S-tube not completely shifting.  The S-Tube has no problem shifting to the right, but when it shift to the left, it is short about 3/4".  This causes  built-up at the opening of the cylinder.  During the job, the built-up gets loose and causes plug in the reducers.  I'm just tired of disconnecting the reducers to the clear the plug.

Can anyone help me.

thanks in advance.

Could be a throw cylinder issue or you need to make an adjustment on the throw block on the S-tube.

Try switching the hoses if the problem is still in the same side get the cylindar re built.

TL the throw of the S-Tube is set buy the collapsed cylinder.

It is easy for grease to be trapped behind the ball socket cup and then the grease will jack the cup out of the socket. With the machine off and the accumulator dumped, look and feel the nylon socket 16 on the parts page to see if it is extended out further on the side that you are not slewing over fully.

Be careful there is a steel spacer behind the ball socket this is the adjustment for the throw, do not change sides on this they might not bee the same thickness on both sides. The thickness is varied when assembled to set the throw.

I chose a random parts page, please let me know if your machine is different.
