This company prides its self on safety.
The company moto is "A Safe Company to Work For".
I am sure they are a good company but they sure miss the boat on this one. |

yes i have seen it, and the reason for it was a hose man lost his balance and fell and there was nothing to grab on to, happened in phx. too i am from the houston area. yes it is different thing |

I was gonna guess that it was a "OH my Dog" handle for the nozzle man. (Money swing?) Do they only use it for that one hose man that fell? Most other places it would get laughed right off the job! That yellow boom wouldn't be attached to a trailor mount would it?

Hey Todd, this is a 9.8 on my whatthe f-o-meter.I just showed this to my 12 year old grandson Timothy and asked him what's wrong safety wise. Not only did he point out the 2 hosemen but the steel. Being the austute soul he is he asked a line pump or a real pump.Yes,I admit we have used a double on the line pumps.Shame on me. |

I had to look twice to see the second hose man. Quite the contraption. Its amazing how so many companies say "SAFETY FIRST" and then fail to employ any authority to enforce those words. The operator probably said "oh hell no". |

as a Boom Inspector ,this would be a huge "red tag" on this machine if I inspected it or even seen it on a job site I would feel very strongly about letting the owner know just how dangerous this practice is ,plus why is there 2 hose men ? Maybe cause there is enough handle for both of them to "rest" on ? |
