This machine was unveiled in December or so before it was even painted but it was a "71 meter" then.

Yeah, let's not get into a bashing of the chopstix pump here.  I'd like to hear some cold, hard facts about them.

I'd like to hear from some real-life operators without a management axe to grind.  Just tell us about the machine, I'm sure they've got their good points as well as bad.

One of the unsubstantiated rumours I've heard is about the electrical system, it's been said that they are originally a 24 volt system?  And that the changeover to 12 volt hasn't been integrated well?  I dunno, just what I've heard.

I don't want to read any bashing either.  Sany came to the North American market of their own accord, they figure they are able to compete with the best of the best.  You see that in their one-upmanship with their introductions of the largest boom.  A market that cannot possibly be self-supporting in terms of return on investment.

If they don't want to subject themselves to scrutiny, then keep a lower profile and build the bread and butter pumps, than will provide good returns.  Showing up with 66 and 71-2-3 meter(?) pumps just screams out for attention.  Well, you got our attention, show us what you got.

So, what do the Chinese do well?
