How many of you were lucky enough to have a Saturday Pour? You remember, those annoying pours that used to deprive you from sleeping in on Saturday morning. Your logic at the time was; "I work all week for me and all day Saturday for the government." It was 1978 or '79 in Houston, TX. A saturday pour was 10,000 yards with as many pumps as you could fit around the job. The average income per yard on those jobs was about $3.10. EVERYBODY was on overtime and making good money except the guy that owned the pump. Good old days... I think perhaps just the old days. How about it Tink? |

I ran a 52M with a 39M across from me. 900 or so yards in about 5 hours (poor service). It was the first slab pour of the new Giants stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. I have some pictures if someone wants to post them for me I would appreciate it. |
