Was just wondering how everyone primes with there 39? And what stroke setting works the best. When I primed with it the other day. I used water and A framed the boom at max rpm at about half stroke. Another question...how do people water wash with there 39? Haven't done it yet but if I were to I would a frame boom, put on half stroke, either counting my strokes or watching for water put it into reverse full stroke volume...would love as much advice I can get with this truck. |

i prime at 3/4 volume 3/4 throttle with all the booms i run. Your routine shouldnt change just because the size of the boom does :) |

Isn't it true though that you are suppose to and run the pump a full rpm/throttle and adjust your stroke accordingly? |

You can have problems by priming with to much water, I prime @1200 rpm (which I pump at) and strokes on 4. As far as waterwashing, stick with the ball!!!! |

on the big booms you need to run the booms at max throttle or the truck will stall but on smaller booms you can run at whatever RPM you want basically. I usually run the 34 at 1200-1300RPM while pumping, adjusting the volume as needed |

priming has nothing to do with the size of the boom or rpm. on a putz half rpm half vol. on schwing u will need more rpm and more vol. it has to do with kind of concrete your state u pump in. in florida coral rock mud is harder to prime and pump.in iowa concrete here in sweet .its like river rock blend mix . i prime with one gallon of water.never a problem. its all on the type of concrete your pumping water wash if u want to but i would use a ball. good luck pumping brother and nice pump. |

many of my operators use two 5" sponges. suck one back a stroke or two then tip some water in the last bend and then another sponge. then suck back. not too many problems with that method and cleans the pipeline nicely... |

we have a 39m sching just like yours i have always primed at 1200 at about 2.5 on the dial. I have pumped at 1000rpm on .5 to zero when doing basement floors depending on how the placing crew is. we used a 5 inche medium to hard ball with a 8 inche foam bollister about 12 inches long behind i put ball first the the other sponge and never had to many problems unless you don't keep rubbers clean on your transition door. i Love the 39m until we got a 41m but it is still an awesome pump to run and easy to figure out when issues arrise. |

Priming is about the same with any pump. As far as washing ai dont care what you do but I have been water washing for 33 years, Oh but I can suck a sponge to, so I have 2 options. Empty the hopper, turn aggator off, fill hopper to 2" below top of rubber, take 7 strokes forward 1500 RPM stroke control below half, bring water back same speed, then 4 srokes forward, and 4 back to clean any residue in deck, and you should be good. WARNING anything can go wrong so when you have a problem what you do next makes you a better operator. Good luck if you have any other questions just ask. |

I put it about 1200-1500 rpms on lowest stroke with some water ahead and behind a soft orange ball |
