I  was 10 yds into a 500 yd pour when one of my bolt together clamps decided to shear a bolt. Now this is in cluster of elbows right after the 6 to 5 reducer, has anyone else had happen? Or should i just take the bolts up to a 12mm from 10mm?

I know that you are probably all over this idea all ready. I will say it anyway.

All the bits - bends and elbows need to WANT to line up. If they aren't 'relaxed' as you put it together something else will break.

Sorry about your dirty pump. If it was easy; you wouldn't have been needed as the operator.

As good as Schwing is,and really, they are as good as it gets; it is possible to miss a cut on a make-up pipe.

is it a swivel thats not swiveling maybe some problems are as simple as a gasket or as Bob said even schwing has the human factor in their pumps it seem to shear bolts you would need some serious pressure that should make some noise if its in a bind, maybe some guy got happy with the impact gun and cracked them during assembly I would replace the bolts with 10 mm and keep an eye on them, talk to schwing and see if they have had these problems with any other 61's I ran a 58 and never had any problems with the pipeline.

i was about 70 yds into 650 when it blew apart on me. that was about the fourth time it's happened, blew concrete althe wato the front of the truck. it's a really bad feeling at about 1:30 in the morning. i guess that,s why you say "hey man don't stand on that side of the truck"

That happened to me on my old 58 and the deck was alligned right and everything matched up we changed it over to 12mm bolts and never had a problem since this happened about two years ago

Yes it was the last clamp going into the deck, the hardest one to get to. Apparently someone fromSchwing or elsewhere saw my question and Dave and Roy recieved a call from Schwing asking what was up. Thanks for the advice and help.
