I had many good years working for them at the Livermore branch up till last year when they had to cut me due to this great economy. Since when does closing a few stores and consolidating their business does it mean parts won't be available? I'm sure Schwing has enough pumps in the world's market to survive as a company just selling spare parts. |

Correct Dubs. Everything is going back to White Bear MN. Nothing changes but location. They are still Scwhing. Just going with the times. Nothing different then many others.

is this an official announcement or just a rumor?
Even if its true Schwing is just down sizing like everyone else. It makes good sense to pull back. Sad for the guys who worked there. |

The dealers have been advised. I know the small line guys have in California that the stores are closing and I was also told Georgia will close and move it's operations to White Bear but that part was not 100%. May be a deal with the Bankruptcy courts. It is for the best to pull in the belt. Especially in light of what is predicted the next year or so. Still looking for the bottom from what we are hearing. |
