without getting too technical , it could be as easy of a fix as removing the e-stop cover and checking the continuity of the two electrical connections. If there is continuity then it is not just the e-stop button. |

forgot to add, if there is not any contunity , then simply replace the two connectors and off you go. |

Boom inspector said it well. I had e stop troubles when I bought my new boom pump and it turned out two wires were hooked up opposite, a hot was going to ground. My suggestion is to check the last area of disturbance any one work on anything? Water does get in and cause voltage drop. Start at the easy stuff, clean and reseal. |

you need a voltage meter to check the switches in the e-stop stations. if you drop 1.5 to 2 volt thru a switch the system will not clear. disconnect the wires from the switch set meter on ohm an check it should see very little resistance. I always start by the hopper than the water box places that get wet the most. hope this helps if you want you can call me John @ 813-334-5552 |

On mine the LED light on a couple check lights were dim. After a lot of testing I found the voltage on one e stop was to ground, it still showed voltage but not enough. |

ok the thing to remember is that that the ground wire and ground switches must also work. If you have an older pump you cannot buy just the little internal switch you have to replace the whole box and red button. sucks because it can be costly fix. |

Thanks to all for the help. The problem was the E-Stop switch at the rear drivers side. And as one post said the switches are no longer availible. I found the correct Siemens switch in stock at granger supply locally . |
