Maybe I said it wrong. But I know u can change how your proportional controls work on the omnex remote or reset them to factory settings.

Reason I ask is cause my slewing is smooth to the left, but the joy stick on the remote doesn't react to the same way when I to right with the boom. Have to lay into the joy stick more.

Anyone else ever reset omnex back to factory setting with the little computer key?

I would buy a brand new solenoid and replace the one that does not work correctly.it cost 200 or 250$. I have a 2000 39m since the last two years and just replace the 2 or 3 solenoid that didn t work properly. If it s not better keep your old solenoid as spare .

I know you can reset by holding one button 5 second i ll have look at it this week on mine .but i m sure it s the solenoid because why someone would have set your slewint differently one side to the other.

We have a 39m 02 I have run it on factory settings and have tried to set them the way you are talking it is not easy even with the play by play instructions. I actually like the factory settings for the boom. Now that being said ours is like yours one way reacts quicker then the other way I just learned to adjust to it ran it for two years like that know a lot of little things like that on that pump but still like it. Changing solenoids might not fix the problem at all

N.D.,

before you start messing with the electronics, plug in your cable remote or another remote box, and see if the problem is still present. You may have bad joystick. you probably need to raise the pilot pressure inside your boom hand valve also, that is the oil the hand valves uses to move the spools, and with older units you have more internal leakage, that you need to compensate for.

Changing settings on the controller is fairly easy, but i would try the above mentioned first

Also before shelling out money for a new solenoid I would switch it out with one from boom left or boom right to make sure the solenoid is the culprit, if indeed it just needs to be adjusted.

When I use the remote and watch the manual controls, the solenoid struggles to go right but not left so its def possible the joy stick on the remote is worn out

You may have to reset the peramaters for that function.  I can't remember when but at some point the factory settings were no where close.  Setting the start paramater will probably make things better you also have the threshold which sets how far you go into you stick.  I don't think you have a joystick or solenoid problem.  Just my opinion.
