What is everybody doing about the schwing Hydraulic cylinder inspections

Maybe they will help you with it.

It has to be done by  certified technician  that has to fly in from New York that is  thousands of dollars for an issue I’m not having problems with and schwing is not going to help with the cost 

Whats the inspection related to? Haven't seen anything about it so I'm curious.

 Schwing  has sent me three notices that the Hydraulics  cylinders on the boom may stretch or even break the rod  after 4200 uses . 

Hmm, I've never heard of this but wouldn't a hydraulic shop be able to do this if needed.

What size boom is Schwing referring to?

I have 39 m but I think it is all trucks over 10 years old with more than 4200 unfolds 

How can a cylinder strech? Sounds to me like a bunch of BS. Just curious, how do they go about this cylinder inspection? I think what they are trying to do is limit their liability, knowing that noone is going to have an inspector fly in just to inspect cylinders

That’s what I’m thinking as well the notice Releases them from liability and the inspection would release us from liability
