Schwing Mud Cups

We have 3 newer pumps that have the 10" mudcups and we are replacing them all the time. Within 1 week they are leaking. I can't believe that the cylinders are worn since the 39s only have about 70,000 yards and the 61 only has 40,000 yards. Is this a problem everyone is having with the newer schwings?

Are the jugs wearing evenly?Alignment could be an issue if the cups wear un-evenly.

I just called the mechanic, and he is going to find out if they are aftermarket cups or not. If they are factory, we will look into going with putz cups. I do not believe there is a problem with alignment, if I remember right, the cups are worn evenly and cylinders look fine too. This is not a problem with the 9" cups though only the 10". Thanks a lot for the input.

I put new mudcups in the other day and pumped 232 yds the next day. All water leaked into hopper and gray water in waterbox. The mechanic is going to flip the cylinders from top to bottom. I think it is better to replace them, but I am not the one paying for them.

Mechanic pulled the material cylinders out of the 39 today, and the cylinders are trashed. They have some nice grooves at the lower half of the cylinders. Getting new ones Yay.
