Can anyone help I have recently got a new remote of from Schwing uk for my 32 it's an old one but new to me, there seems to be a problem with it losing signal when you get about 30m away or if there is an obstacle in the way, this stops the agitator turning which with the saftey device in turn stops the pump pumping. I was then having problems with the pump not pumping in forward or reverse perhaps 2-3 stops per mixer this did not go down well with the contractor, I have replaced the forward and reverse solanoids and the cylinder block all new it does not seem to be cutting out any more but the remote is still cutting out  when away from the truck or with an obstacle in the way. Would it be possible that the signal problem has somehow broken the solanoids as they still think that they should be working but the singnal loss has told the pump to cut out.

Ps. This machine will not pump without the aggiatator on

many help would be great thanks

Im no expert, but I would say that your receiver or sender inside the remote isn't working correctly?

If you have what Schwing calls a "funk" plug, that you remove to run your hardwire, check that it's installed tight! I had a German 36X that used to do WEIRD things like that ! We sent the remote in 4 times to get it repaired, and Schwing USA could not reference the pump by serial # because it was not manufactured in the US! Long story short, there was a bad pin in the plug, and it would play mind games on me!

Check the antenna on the truck and make sure it is not broken were it attaches to the wire antenna and at the box, Open up your remote box and check the antenna and make sure it is making contact,  I have had both these problems which affected may signal.

I will check all antenna connections as my operator has also just told me that sometime he will be moving the boom and getting nothing then it decides to go with a delay, not very safe.I know Schwing sent the box to Germany to get fix and it returned new as they could not fix it. I will call Schwing Monday morning and I'm sure their help will be spot on as always,I purchased the machine from them direct as they had a trade in off a new machine there has been a couple off issues but they have put their hand in their pocket and replaced all things new and been upto me twice already 600miles away.
