Schwing vs Alliance

I would like to hear from operators/owners who have ran both machines especially over a long period of time to tell me if they were buying another pump today and you had a choice, what would it be?

I would like answers from people with hands on experience please. I know we all have our preference and I've always had Schwing and now considering Alliance maybe but idk.I hear good things but want honest people who've had both.

Thanks!

Hey xforce1  I just wanted to chime in here. I only know of one or two companies that just run only schwings. Even the big big boys are looking at or run other pumps.... I would recommend Alliance any day of the week.

Love Schwing as a product or Pump. For 30 years. Great pump.

I can tell you the Alliance/Jun Jin can run with a schwing all day on site. I think in these times you will find better support from Alliance. Not to long ago Schwing did not supply parts to well and left a bad taste to many of us and Alliance was supplying Schwing parts as well as their own.

As a business person. At this time in our industry I have to give the nod dollar for dollar to Alliance.

I haven't run a schwing in about 13 years.  Been running Putz. for those years.  Just bought an Alliance pump and love it.  As I was looking for a pump putz and schwing were dropped because of price and how long of a wait it would be.  I do a lot of res. pumping not a ton of com. so I just needed a pump that could show up not a name that some big job guys want.  In buying a pump I needed to know what was going to happen after the sales.  I looked through pump pictures on this site.  Then I found the companies and what pumps they are using.  I went through the ACPA phone book and then could those company and asked them about service of the pumps.  The pump dealers know the prices of their compition so there was a fine line when it came to the $$$.  But deliever time and tech support were top for me.  Alliance is able to affordably service my older pumps also so it's like a one stop shopping store.  Chris with Alliance was awesome to work with.  I was able to bug him night or day and I really did do that sometimes.  I also liked the fact that a could make changes to the pump so it truly was built for me.  I know that if you go with Alliance you wont regrate it, besides one phone call I didn't deal any more with schwing so I can't truly say good or bad just a lot of $$$$$ which means less for me to make.

Thanks for the replies, keep them coming please. I have always had schwings, and I to had problems with parts and fell back on alliance. Actually, I'm still waiting on a part I ordered in april, it's not an important part but thats not the point but I'm not slandering Schwing AT ALL!!!! They are awesome pumps but Alliance is coming out with a VERY versitle pump and would really like to try it maybe.

Don't jump ship on schwing because of a back order . They are the best pumps out there.

dlee7729, please don't take this thread and make it something it's not! I'm not jumping simply because of backorder, I'm simply looking cause they have some useful boom set-ups that would be useful. That's it. So please don't critisize me for asking opinions.

Had an 07 Alliance and some older schwings, now just schwing.  Alliance support is good but the quailty and dependability is not the same. When they work, they work good but  just to many little problems for me.

Have run  many pumps and know of more than 1 or 2 companys that run only Schwings. Love them. Most of the time a different brand will offer incentive's to sell a pump, which before, in, or after, hard times is really appealing. Then the next thing is stocking 2 different brand's of part. Oh forgot about troubleshooting problems. There's a lot to think about, and good luck.
