That is a GREAT PIC! Thanks Big Tobacco. Makes me want to move to the city! There must be a lot of money to be made if a company is fortunate to pump a high rise! I have to see more pictures of this. Can you show the inside set up right out to the trailer? Is that a Stair well or elevator   shaftthe placing boom is set up in?

You're right, Seattle is booming! This placing boom is set up in the elevator shaft of the building. The contractor SAK Const is using a Peri self climbing form system. After each lift is poured, the forms are retracted and the entire form system is raised to the next level. This is really nice because the placing boom mast and boom climb with the Peri system. That way , we don't have to go out and jump the mast. With 21 placing boom jobs going right now not having to jump another mast really helps out! I will try and get some more shots of this job up next week including the pump. We are currently using a 32m Schwing set up for placing boom. We pull onsite at 400am, pump on at 500 am, blow the system down and then go out on another job with the 32 meter.

What branch do you work out of and who is up here? We had an operator (J.P.) up out of Central California to help on telebelts last month. Is that who you are talking about?

Branch 340 ya thats him hows he doing up there? you guys break him in yet.

We brought him up to run our TB110, he got here and all the belt wook went away, threw him into a couple different pumps... he worked out really well. I think he was missing his family and drug up about a month ago. If you see him, tell him Paulie said "hi"

BT should you ever see any old (I mean old) company brocures you will see DBsr on a placing boom mast running a boom.He was on my boom,3rd floor as I remember.Ahhh,the good old days.

That must be from " back in the day " with Senior on a boom! I will keep an eye out for you...
