See the future

EUREKA!!! It is now as clear as Waterford crystal!!! Todd needs to change the name of his software to THE ORACLE.

There are really three kinds of pump companies.

1.    This company is based on a solid business plan. It is well thought out. It is monitored at least monthly. It knows where it is at all times, and has a plan for the future. THIS IS A PUMP COMPANY!!!

2.    This company is a genetically flawed clone of the type 1. company. It was a good idea that never gestated beyond that point. It was loved, but not nurtured. It is clueless as to its financial strength; making it in the good times only to bleed that would be wealth during the poor. “Oh please don’t let it rain on Tuesday or we will be unable to make payroll.” No one really dare ‘stick a fork in it’ to see if it is done, they really do not want to know.

3.    This company was a bad idea from jump-street. The factory financing didn’t provide money for the fuel for delivery, the first insurance payment or that flat tire. And as we all know; “Man, if I had any money I would have gotten two pumps. What did you think?”

Now the above descriptions have NOTHING to do with size, or status. But that makes the afore mentioned descriptions no less accurate.

All of these ‘would be king’ types are after the same customers. Day after day, pumping their little hoofies to the quick; searching for the illusive SUCCESS. The cold hard fact is that some of them do not have a snowballs chance in hell; but on they go, day after day, pour after pour.

Sooner or later [usually much too later] type 2 &3 sense something amiss with the nirvana that should be theirs. They feel the need to (re)think their plan/guess/estimation. Inevitably, the answer is always the same. LOWER PRICES!!! So that they can grab a bigger bite of the available market. Never mind the fact that it has taken time immemorial to get the prices to the paltry level at which they now teeter. Years of creative groveling by some of the nations best grovelers flushed down the drain of piss-poor planning in the blink of a not quite sober eye. The [intended or not] spawn of this plan is now EVERYONE has a new ‘low water mark’ to aim for. The good, the bad and the ugly are now, once again, being asked to drink from the glass that is ½ empty and try and get by.

So ‘what in the hell are you rambling about, and what is the correlation to Todd’s software? Well I am, as they say in Georgia, Fixen fer ta tell ya.

Every type 1 company in America should, in their own defense, supply ORACLE (Pump Magic) to all start-up companies. It needs to be, with a new computer, packed in a box on the passenger’s side floor of every new, or used, pump delivered.

This software TELLS YOU where you REALLY are, at a glance. Just feed it every day, like your dog, and at the end of the month it will tell you the pure, and sometimes sad, truth of your company’s strength and or weakness. It has the ability to show even the slowest learner when the time has come to sell the pump and buy a Bobcat. Think of all the good that would do for the market. The remaining companies could grow faster and do a better job.

Now, some of you probably think that this (madness) is just a commercial for Pump magic. Well that is not the case. My very selfish reason for this rant is…………………………..

If companies had a more secure income and a better bottom line on their P & L statement they could invest in better safety programs; and we would all live: Pumpily    Ever   After.

A free trial will only tell part of the story. The longer you use the PUMP MAGIC software the more history you will have on the most important company in the world........ YOURS.

After one month you will be able to re-cap that month, but after six months, or a year, you will have a history, an annual average, a true view of the strength of your company. After a year run the reports that are available in the complete, enhanced version of the PUMP MAGIC software. Only then will you really know whether that new 36m pump you are looking at is what your company needs. The [utilization by size] report will tell you. Curious about how many days your 36 went out for 32m prices? Would you like to know your income per hour on each of your operators? How about cost per yard, by pump? How can you measure your company with out a calibrated measuring device?

You are encouraged to take advantage of the free trial. Do yourself and your company a favor. Buy and use PUMP MAGIC for a year and for the first time know where you stand.
