Short rigging.

I have heard the Concord 60+ m pumps need to have all riggers out, just for counterweight, I have only delbt with the 50m Concord and this is not the issue. Feedback would be appreciated. I know Buy a Putz or schwing but Concord is a boat anchor and just heard rumors, they did lengthen the riggers last year. Seems weird for a machine in operation. Does this not say so in the operation manual.

Of course extend if givin the chance but would they not say do not short rig in any circumstance.

If I had any questions about how to set up a Concord 60 or 65 I would call Pumpco in Atlanta, GA and find out how to get in touch with Richard Landry. He IS the master of the BIG Concord. ;~)

I see they bought a couple, wounder how they are doing.

We had the first 43s in BC. They are improving.

I know Astra had issues with the big ones, they extended the footprint, then never heard any more about them.

Don't quote me but Astra is Concord by relation. Not by business. This may have changed, we are looking at a 32z .So I may find out soon enough, they are 15min away.

But we never talk, we rent each others machines hehe.

And no, I would not say buy a Putz or a Schwing for two very good reasons.

1. Concord, along with all of the rest of our sponsors, make as good or better machine as the two you mention.

2. They are much more reasonable about the pricing of their pumps and their parts.

You only get paid for how long the boom is, not who you purchased it from. Your customers don't care; they just want their concrete pumped.

I have to bite my lip Bob I do love Concords, they have come along way, just our maintinence costs were so high, at one point and now have settled down. Just the updates in their beginings were tough but they were new. We work close with Floris. I should be more carefull next time I blurb out.
