Anybody ever done any shotcere or grout pumping (grout meaning sand & cement no rock). I am looking into nozzles, and found one for about $250. Does this sound like a decent price? For those who don't know shotcrete is a low slump pea gravel mix that is pumped through your machine and at the discharge air is applied to "shoot" the mix onto surfaces. It is used in pools, retaining walls, waterfall construction, and any other application (vertical/overhead) where conventional concrete placement is not an option.I have worked with gunite before, and have seen plugs occur when seperation of material occurs. Gunite uses air to transport material and the water is injected at the discharge. Any experience or stories I would like to hear. |

I run a Reed dry process machine and a Olin pump for wet. I can pump grout with it also or mix and pump with my Chemgrout pump. I get all my stuff out of Birmingham, Al. |

Redman I shoot full time and own my own company here in Calif. If you want a great nozzle and people who know more than any of those other companys go to www.wse-shotcrete.com and talk to Joe or Joseph. those guys know there stuff and there nozzles are roughly $185.00 plus depending on what you need. I shoot all sorts of mixes and yes you can shot a sand only mix if you know what you are doing. I have put up about 120 yards or so in the last month in a tunnel. It shoots great Good luck
