Has anyone ever placed shotcrete off the ass end of a 36 meter?

You would have enough power and your pump should stroke slowly enough to do the job. I have never tried it... but I would suggest having my custom cleaning tools for the inside of the valve made up in advance.

Long slow pours can be a cleanout problem.

Thanks Bob!

Do you suggest little diggers, or the pocket mini jack hammer? Good advice!

how many yards and how much hose?? i ask because if it is alot of yardage i would figure out a way to use the boom(if it's not like 300')and just a few hoses that way every couple of trucks you could break it lose and recurculate to scrub out the hopper and valve.this is just my opinion cuase tryin to clean out a closed up valve SUX!!!!

I have pumped shot crete into a trailer pump with a 47M and even recurc. after every 2nd truck hopper still pretty bad !

We've done it thru the boom on a 32m, they would average 100+ yards a day. I didn't hear to much about clean up.

i been out on a job where we pump off of the back end of our 39 m with 2" hoses it was smoth without the surge chamber. as for the clean out a long stake with a little bend in it works fine.

hi  seed am currently shotcreting off my 32 schwing ,but with the single circuit you get a hell of a kick on the changeover ,but the 34 twin circuit is beautiful to spray off also have sprayed plenty with the 36 putz 3/4 revs and flow divider on 2 spraying is ok

seed,

If you are not doing the spraying yourself, you should have a very relaxing day, just find a nice shadey spot to sit ya bum. I wont tell you how to go about it but i will tell you how i go about it.

firstly, line or boom pumping, no leaky rubbers causes no unwanted buildup.

2nd, down a few gears, up enough revs just to make the motor sound sweet, up a fair bit on the volume control. ( i say this because i have seen different remotes and machines develop a glitch and all of a sudden the hyrdo pump is strokeing full bore and the bloke holding the 2 inch hose is being cast about like a lure on a fishing line).

3rdly, if you can use your boom use it or a bit of 4 inch pipeline. 9 inch cylinders down to 2 inch hose within a couple of metres (yards) requires your reaction time to be instant if there is a blockage. reaction too slow, pressure peaks, blockage releases, old mate goes fishing again.

4some, before i charge the pump, if i dont know the crete i admit it. i ask the spray crew, too wet, too dry? i hate getting yelled at.

fiffinally, talk to the guys, entertain them. when they all come down to the very very well OILED pump that has been strategically parked in the all day shade and offer me a beer, i say "be with ya in 10".

buildup in the tube on the wear ring, no problem, 2x2 hardwood peg up her guts, pumping forward (not reverse) 10, 12 or so change overs usually loosens it enough to gently prize it out with a bit of reo.

great day guys, cheers "aaarrrhh" , who wants to sign my docket.

enjoy your day seedman

seed, if you find the kick a bit aggressive on the putz try disconnecting the POH, that should make the changeover sweeter.
