I did a favouritejob today. My pump and two loaded mixertrucks get on an barge in Stockholm innerarchipelago and sail out 2,5 hour to an small island in the outerarchepilago were i pumped a small bridgefoundation - just hang out the hose over the railing when the mixertrucks pour their load into the pump placed on the barge and i did a simple pumpjob. Just only 45 m hose (135 feet), two 6 m3-loads and alot of retarder in the concrete and nice summerweather in that marvellous nature - could it be better? Sorry, that i forgott to bring the camera - i banned my self for that (!) and my cellphonecamera is full of concrete behind the lens...... But i found a pic on the internet on the island i pumped today, Finnhamn (finnharbour) it´s called. This post is consecrated so you can tell or show your dream-pumpjob, that you do only 3 - 4 times/year. I think you are better than me to remember the camera to these goldenjobs. |

But Clive, i understand if a 2000 foot linepumpingjob is your favouritejob because of the incom that work will give. But as a pumper and a pumpcompanyrunner as i am, that sort of job is a nightmare - i can tell it even if my self will have the income. I think it´s the most worse (but moste incomebringing) job i whould say thank to. But what ever - i say thank you to every pumpjob - but i´ve never bin asking about that sort of gastic ulcer-job. Maybe i pump concrete in a Swedish safetybulb, but that length of pipe i´ve never bin heard of. |
