I am starting to see a need for a very small boom. I have looked at a few squeeze pumps. I don't know how a squeeze works, could someone inform me. I am looking for a small boom, 14-23 meter with a compact design, low unfolding height... maybe a z boom?

they work by the rollers in the drum squezzing the concrete forward as the roller assb. rotates around the centershaft. the ones i ran had two rollers

the drum is under vaccum so it pulls the pumptube back out thus sucking more concrete into the pump

the tubes used to wear out quickly and when you reversed the pump they tubes would collapse and lose vacum so no suction in reverse. i ran these in the early 80s so some of those issues maybe worked out. they hated rocky mixes and waterwash only kind of pump. i remember one hot august in marco island fla. when the pump tube blew while pumping planters through a standpipe 18 floors up worked so hard cleaning the drum and retubing i threw up lol

Hi Redman1

We run a 14m and a 29m squeese pumps both 3 stage and i have just order a 26m 4 stage, they work well on a round stone the concrete is best if its min 120mm, 5" slump but it will pump dryer, they don't like line pumping much about 50m rubber hose is about the most we have had to put on the are very smooth pump, our pumps are about 90s models the 26 and 29 are empty a 5m3 truck comfortably 6min and smal one 8-10min , the round stone we have the tubes last about 5-7000m3 and the sharp stone which is in other places in NZ the tubes only last 3-4000m3,

There are lots of tricks to operating any pump as all you guys know, these are pretty simple and we have had up to 3 concrete trucks backed into hours and done up to 200m3 in a day

I will try and load a photo or two

My company own`s 3 squeeze pumps.

2-14m, and 1- 17 m, all 3 stage, mounted on Isuzu trucks, which are excellent on fuel.

Very easy to run and clean.

Their very popular in my area.

Advice: Keep the pinch tube well greased....
