Is it any wonder why we all see so many views on topics and few responses or posts? Geez, I thought this site was for helping each other...if so, ya'll are going about it in a strange way. Being new to the industry, I love coming on and LEARNING from all the more experinced out there. To be honest though all the criticisim and bickering makes me shy away along with all the others. I agree with the saftey aspect of the industry, but can't we be a little less critical and maybe just hold our tounges, and enjoy and learn from and or help each other instead?

I agree with you Redman. I think it’s easy to reply with out much compassion because you don’t see anyone behind the posts. People become very direct and quick to pass judgment. One thing to remember,  we are part of the construction industry so we must have some think skin but again I do agree with you.

Well since you hit the saftey trigger here's my thought, Ive been at this a while and it is our responsobility as operator's to decide what happens, The ACPA is great, although they do lack alot of imformation in the book but that is a descussion i dont care to type, anyway it is the operator who has to say hell no 98% of the time. Listen and learn from the seasoned guys and you will be fine, you will learn who is full of it and who is not don't try to be a john wayne or a gung ho i'll pump that 3hr old mud keep your cool and THINK and you'l do just fine. Mudslinger is one of VERY FEW (count on one hand even) I'll ask anything because i respect him as an operator.  Im sure there are others here that are his caliber but i don't know them personally.
